Facebook changes so quickly and most people just want to visit their friends and favorite brands without digging into the changes. That’s why we’ve put together 5 Quick Facebook Questions and Answers for November 2010.
Top News vs Most Recent-What’s the Difference?
Top News aggregates the most interesting content that your friends have posted, while the Most Recent filter shows you all the actions your friends are making in real-time.
Wall Post – How to control the settings on my Wall Posts?
There’s a setting to control who sees your Wall on the “Sharing on Facebook” section of the Privacy Settings page. To check your settings for this feature, follow the “Customize settings” link at the bottom of this section. Right now, you probably have the box next to “Allow friends to post on my Wall” unchecked or have the “Wall posts by friends” section set to “Only Me.” In order to show your friends your Wall, make sure the “Allow friends to post on my Wall” is checked and adjust the privacy of your “Wall posts by friends” feature to a less restrictive setting.
How do I use Home Page filters?
Click on any filter to see all the posts on your home page focus on that type of content or group of people. For example, you can filter down to just photo posts, or just statuses. You can also filter down to Friend Lists, which are customized sets of friends that you can create.
How do I add a friend?
Just use Facebook Search to find the person you know, and then click on the “Add as Friend” button to the right of their search listing. A friend request will be sent to that person. Once they confirm that they actually are friends with you, they will show up on your Friends List. Please note that privacy settings may limit your ability to see the “Add as Friend” link for some users.
Hope this helps!
