First, take a few days off in January. What? That’s crazy! I know you probably had a few days to a several weeks off in December but maybe you didn’t really get a chance to relax and think about your 2013 business year. And, that’s okay. Take time off in January and recharge.
Now, if you’re like most entrepreneurs, you don’t have time for a long goal setting process. You probably try to remember a new idea as you run through your day or you write it down on a napkin or piece of paper. Been there, done that.
So, here is a refreshing take on planning for the non-stop entrepreneur!
Easy Cheating Goal Setting
Find a small piece of paper.
1. Write down 4 things your want to accomplish this year.
2. Write down three things you need to do to accomplish each goal.
3. Pick one goal a quarter.
4. Tape the paper to the wall.
That’s it. Quick. Easy. No Frills.
Did you come up with less than four goals? It’s okay, no pressure!
Chances are, your goals are meaningful and important to your business because they came to you immediately. Remember to keep them in front of you and make a second copy for your wallet!
