Just took my first tour of Facebook Timeline for Pages. Page owners will have until March 29, 2012 to play around with pictures, old tabs, etc. in the new design. On March 30, 2012 Pages will automatically get the new design.
Caution: Once you “publish” you new Timeline design you can’t go back to your old design. So, you might want to look over everything and even take screen shots if you need to remember what was in the old design.
PUBLISH NOW only ADMINS CAN SEE: If you choose to Publish your page now, only Admins of you page can see it until March 30th. That will give you time to play around and get it right.
POST PIN TO STAY ON TOP: Yea, love this feature!
LANDING TABS ARE GONE: You will land on the page and not a special tab.
DIRECT MESSAGES TO PAGES AND VICE VERSE: Easier and private ways to connect with people on your page.
PREVIOUS PAGE APPS: You can show up to 12 apps but the Photo box will always remain in the first space
INVITE FRIENDS AND SHARE PAGE: Yea, that feature is back!
COVER PHOTO: The cover photo is approximately 849 x 312 px and the photo shot is 180 x 180 px
