Features Removed in Pinterest

By Sabrina Espinal March 23, 2013

Loving Pinterest means that you’ll probably like the new changes that took effect in March, 2013. Some of the key notable changes were the larger pictures, left hand category drop down section, hover “Pin It” and “Like” buttons, the new “Website” button and the ability to view related pins. All of it really good stuff.

But, I miss the items that were removed from Pinterest:

The removed items were great and many of the early adopters of Pinterest really took advantage of these now defunct features.

Bye Bye to:

  • Hashtag links and searching
  • Adding Links
  • Embedding Links
  • Tweeting from Pins
  • Longer Profile Descriptions
  • Liking Boards

I’m still not sure why I can’t like a board but I guess that just gives us all more to Pin!

What do you think? Where you using Pinterest for business or pleasure?
