Bing me! Love Bing

We give your message to the world through Social Media!

December 27th, 2009

To be successful in business and in life you must continue to evolve.  Staying the same was a great thing…a long time ago! Now days, if you stay the same while most things around you are changing, you will be like the poor mouse in the book “Who Moved My Cheese?”   Where are you with your business plan? When was the last time you made any revisions?  Your plan should  support all aspects of your day to day business operations and become the  foundation of your Social Media structure.  Without a well thought out and shared plan, people on your team will all end up in different places with a mixture of results.

This is the best time of the year to reflect on how you will run your business next year.  Think about building a Team mission statement. Look at engaging a Business & Creative Strategist like Michele Mattia,CC  to help you design and ignite your business and then let Sabrina&Company manage your Social Media networks. Get Inspired!

polarbearsThese are busy times for all in November and December and it doesn’t matter what holiday you celebrate because it’s all about being with family and friends.  Remember to embrace everyone during this special time because it only takes a moment to show your heart.

Enjoy,

Starbucks has a great way of using their fans and their products in a caffeine filled sweet way to help the world!

Starbucks is always doing something for the global community.  Remember the award winning Akeelah and the Bee? This was a sweet movie from 2006 that was strongly promoted by Starbucks and was the first CD sold in stores.

Once again this holiday season Starbucks continues their partnership with RED. This time they are giving $1.00 from every “LOVE” CD sale to fight Aids.  So far,  the Starbucks-Red partnership and the Starbucks customers have contributed a staggering “7 million days worth of medicine” for people living with HIV in Africa.  Starbucks has a wonderful communication and colaboration with their customers using their SM Website,  Twitter and Facebook networks. By the way, their Facebook page has  5 million plus fans and Twitter has 550,000 followers.

Starbucks has used this base of caffeine and charity loving fans to  join in song on December 7, 2009 at 8:30am est to sing, “All You Need Is Love”. Starbucks Love Project

Pretty Cool. Giving Back. Social Media. Love.

Twitter_and_LinkedIn_Peanut_Butter_and_ChocolateTwitter on your LinkedIn?  Ooohhh wait a minute.

The hope is that LinkedIn users will tweet info to Twitter and vice versa. Some people really shouldn’t do this…and you know who you are!  The other people should take a minute and think about it.  Your employer may not always be able to find you on Twitter but now they will. Our 15 minutes of fame is now lasting a lot longer.

Understand, if you don’t do this right, every single tweet will update your status on LinkedIn!

You also have two additional options of installing a Twitter box and a Company Buzz box on your LinkedIn profile.

If you opt to turn on the STATUS feature remember to do this:

Twitter to LinkedIn – Log into LinkedIn

  1. Click on Profile
  2. Click on Edit Profile
  3. In the Twitter section click on Edit and check off “Share only tweets that contain #in”

(Only the hashtag tweets  of #in or #li will go to Linked status)

LinkedIn to Twitter – Log into LinkedIn

  1. Click  on Home
  2. Update your status and if you want it to feed to Twitter, check the Twitter box

This can be a great business tool as long as you remember to keep your eye on the birdie! Check out the details on LinkedIn Learn and let me know if you have any questions.
